Story

Hi there!

This year I am taking up the challenge to cycle in the Remembrance Bicycle Ride from Sydney to Canberra to raise money for Police Legacy, a charity that's close to my heart.

Through illness, injury, or death of a serving or retired police officer, Police Legacy cares for the family.  In over 20 years I have seen friends, colleagues and their family receive support from Legacy in many ways, the biggest of those being through education.  

As a mum and a police officer I figure a small challenge of pedalling a couple of hundred kilometres up & down hills is how I can show my support for Police Legacy families.

I would greatly appreciate any contribution, big or small.

 

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.

    The Trustee For NSW Police Legacy

    NSW Police Legacy is the NSW Police Force Charity. Established in 1987 it was initially founded to support the bereaved families following the loss of their loved one. Now, our support extends to include police officers and their families experiencing challenging times in their lives. Our police family has grown to include not only families suffering from loss and grief, but those experiencing misfortune that require extra support. Our committment is to build on the care and support of serving and retired police officers and their families during times of tragedy and need with financial assistance, emotional support and networking opportunities so they are never forgotten. http://www.policelegacynsw.org.au/
